Every day at Inclusive Journeys, children access structured, choice-based activities across three zones. This means they have freedom to choose, but within a carefully planned, safe and predictable framework– ideal for SEND children and their siblings.
The Benefits of the 3 Zones
By structuring our space into dedicated zones, we remove the “overwhelm” often found in standard childcare. This layout supports emotional regulation, reduces sensory overload, and empowers children to make independent choices. It allows our specialist staff to provide targeted support—facilitating social play in one area while protecting the peace and quiet of another. The result is a predictable, safe environment where children feel confident to explore, learn new skills, and build lasting friendships.

A calm retreat designed for regulation. Featuring low lighting, weighted blankets, and sensory tools, this area provides a peaceful environment for children to recharge and feel safe.
