Inclusive Journeys
Help with childcare costs for children with SEND
Holiday Club runs with predictable routines and SEND-first support; our nurturing staff provide personalised care throughout the full day, ensuring a calm, supported start and stress-free holiday for the whole family.
We are an approved childcare provider and accept Tax Free Childcare payments.
Inclusive Journeys is registered for Tax-Free Childcare, Universal Credit childcare support and other eligible childcare funding schemes. This means many families can get financial help towards the cost of our SEND wraparound provision, including our holiday club, Bradford club and after-school club.
Who could be eligible:
- Parents who are working may be able to use Tax‑Free Childcare to help pay for our service.
- For most children, the government can contribute up to £2,000 per year per child.
- If your child is disabled (for example, in receipt of Disability Living Allowance (DLA), this can increase to up to £4,000 per year per child.
- This support can be used towards before and after school childcare, holiday provision, and SEND childcare, as long as the provider is registered for Tax‑Free Childcare.

Funding and support for childcare costs
At Inclusive Journeys, we know that childcare costs can be a worry for families, especially when children have additional needs. We are registered for a range of government childcare schemes, so you may be able to get help with the cost of your child’s place.
Depending on your circumstances, you may be able to use:
Universal Credit
If you receive Universal Credit, you may be able to claim back up to 85% of your eligible childcare costs for placements at Inclusive Journeys (subject to government rules and your personal circumstances).
Tax Free Childcare
We are registered for Tax-Free Childcare, which can help working families with their childcare bills. For every £8 you pay into your online childcare account, the government adds £2, up to a set limit each year. This can be used towards our holiday club, after-school club and other eligible sessions.
Other childcare entitlements
Some families may also be able to use other funding, such as childcare elements of certain benefits or local authority support, where applicable. Because every family’s situation is different, we encourage parents/carers to check what they are entitled to.
