About Us
At inclusive journeys we are dedicated to fostering an enriching and supportive environment for children. We are seeking an enthusiastic Level 3 Childcare Practitioner to join our dynamic team, working across two childcare settings: a nursery for children aged 2 to 5 and a before-and-after school club for children aged 5 to 16. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on children’s growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children.
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Observe and assess children’s development and well-being, using this information to support individual needs.
• Understand and adhere to OFSTED standards and regulations.
• Support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), ensuring that their individual needs are met effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain high standards of care and education.
Experience and Qualifications
• A Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.
• A solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Familiarity with OFSTED regulations and guidelines.
• Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
